Incandescent bulbs use more energy to run and form heat you can feel and cause more wasted energy. The bulbs last about 1,000 hours, and that's only if they don't break first. So before purchase your next light bulb, here is how you can save energy using LED or fluorescent lights instead.?

Stop Using Incandescent Bulbs

Stop burning yourself on energy wasting inefficient incandescent bulbs. Light your home, workplace, and outdoors safer and smarter by using LED lights. The most energy efficient lights use light-emitting diodes instead of incandescent bulbs. A work light with 20 LED light bulbs uses only 1.5 watts compared to a typical 60 watt incandescent bulb.

See, live, decorate, and work with whiter light. LED lights produce a whiter light than an incandescent bulb. This will allow you to see finer details too. LEDs last up to 50,000 hours vs incandescent bulbs last no more than 1,000 hours. Since 20 LEDs under a clear protective lens uses only 1.5 watts, they give off almost no heat at all. Change all the lights in your home, and if you can't afford to do them all at once, start by replacing the ones you use most often.
